There are many people interested to use ubuntu but don’t know how to get ubuntu. You’re reading this post means you know a little about ubuntu. You can check out the post ubuntu to know much. Ubuntu can be installed in three way on your PC.
- Install as primary os OR along with Windows or Mac (Dual Boot)
- Install in a virtual machine
- Ubuntu windows installer (like windows app)
Let’s start from first……
In this installation method we need to download a disc image in .ISO format, then burn on a DVD/CD and boot from CD.
- To download .ISO file go to the following link
- Here you have two option to download. One is latest version, which is currently released. And the other is LTS version, which is supported for three years from being released.
- select your desired version then click the orange colored download button
- The file start downloading. It may take few hour as the file size is about 700M
- finishing download burn it to DVD/CD. You can use isoimageburn for to do so
- Now boot from CD. Then restart your PC the following dialogue box appears. Select try ubuntu if you want to install ubuntu without any change of your current os. OR select install to install. Make sure your disk has partitioned properly if you want to use ubuntu along with Windows or Mac. Nor current os will erase.
- Then select your language or which info want.
- Restart PC again & get ubuntu installed
